VERDICT: Valentine Catcher returned from a 248-day absence to score on his handicap bow at Nottingham recently, an effort for which he was subsequently raised 2lb. Tim Easterby's charge remains open to any amount of improvement and, given that he seems versatile regarding ground, it would be no surprise to see him go in again. Eye Of Dubai performed with credit in a class 2 at Chester last month and must be respected down in grade, while Roberto Caro is most appealing of the remainder.
