VERDICT: Second-reserve Arch Enemy would be threatening if getting a run as she stayed on for second in a much higher grade at Leopardstown last Thursday. Jamie Powell has a good record aboard prominent-racer Smaoineamh Sile as he has steered her to her last couple of victories. The pair couldn't quite hold on over further in Leopardstown, but that runner-up berth was still a decent effort. Blue Wood is capable off his mark and first-time cheekpieces might eke out a bit more from him, while Cousin Shay is unexposed on turf having been extensively campaigned on the Polytrack at Dundalk. Pimstrel made a promising start to life with George Kingston when second behind an easy winner in Naas.
