VERDICT: Anglo Saxson likes it here, with four out of his five career victories coming at the track, although he wasn't at his best when 11th at Doncaster last month and needs to bounce back. Embarked was beaten just half a length off this mark at Southwell and is worth another try at the mile, but a chance is taken on Straight A. A 6f winner here in June 2023, this will be his second outing for Mick Appleby and he can go well off 2lb lower and upped to this trip.
