VERDICT: Having shed his maiden tag in comfortable fashion at the second time of asking over 6f at Southwell last month, Invictus Gold gets the vote. Tom Clover's runner won more comfortably than the winning distance may suggest on that occasion and he can continue his upwards trajectory. Evening Saigon is feared most after being beaten just a length over 5f at Musselburgh earlier this month and this extra yardage could bring out some improvement, while Hajes is a newcomer to take seriously.
