VERDICT: One of the more open races of the day and it may just be worth taking a punt on Ibaca (8) who races with front shoes off and who enjoys a good entry on the front row, although Iska De Victhi (6) reassured at Abbeville and looks a similarly serious proposition. Unshod-behind this time, Italie France (10) is giving away distance but should have a lot to contribute in this small field. Barefoot, with the champion driver reining, Ima Du Canet (2) is most definitely one for the shortlist.
