VERDICT: The Reverend was not disgraced when second on his belated seasonal return at Thirsk last month and cannot be discounted. That said, he may struggle to give 6lb to Sugar Road, who improved on his debut effort at Southwell last time and Andrew Balding's colt may have more improvement left to come. Military Academy is a half-brother to a Group 1 winner and any market support for him would have to be noted.
