VERDICT: A gelding procedure since a respectable second at Newmarket in June could work the oracle for Jayyash. The Gosdens' representative has held his form well since breaking through over C&D in April and he looks capable of more now reverting to Polytrack. The biggest threat may emerge from the well-bred Amphius, who enters handicaps off what looks a workable mark. Eleftheria and Tiger Beetle are a couple of other key contenders in an open-looking contest.
