VERDICT: Big Sip came up short when sent off favourite in novice company at Ascot, but that race has worked out well and Andrew Balding's inmate can fare better in this less competitive affair. The Cracksman colt was denied by only a neck when runner-up here on debut and is taken to confirm running with Marbush. Not far behind the selection on that occasion, the son of Raven's Pass rates the chief threat, unless newcomer Celtic Diligence, a half-brother to a couple of winners, proves above average.
