VERDICT: Forest Gate improved from first to second start when runner-up at Newbury and, with further progress likely, the son of Waldgeist may be able to break the maiden on this occasion with conditions in his favour. Not in action since a highly encouraging debut at Newcastle over 1m in February, No Retreat is a key player on his return, as well as Brave Call, who takes a significant drop in grade. Didaar and Inversion are capable of being in the shake-up as well.
