VERDICT: Kate Mesloise (11) was an authoritative winner at Vincennes in late June and is probably worth siding with judged on that form. Kapusha Mip (12), whose competitiveness at this level is beyond doubt, and Khaleesi D'alesa (9), after her reassuring recent 4th, are best equipped to challenge for the victory. Kano (8) made an interesting reappearance and could make his presence felt, along with Kap Orne (7), who races barefoot for the first time.
