VERDICT: L'Eagle Aid failed to fire when sent off favourite at Hamilton, but he steps back out of handicap company and boasts plenty more experience than his rivals. Charlie Johnston's three-year-old sets the standard with a rating of 67 and looks to have lots in his favour to get off the mark. Vinny's Dream finished fourth over 1m2f at Chelmsford on debut and could improve for this step up in distance, while any market confidence behind Delay would be interesting.
