However, American Affair looks the way to go. Jim Goldie's four-year-old has filled the top two places on each of his four starts this year (two wins) and his most recent second at Haydock reads well in the context of this race. The son of Washington DC competes off a 4lb higher mark now but may still go one better, while Vantheman is another to note.
