VERDICT: Linwood comfortably brushed aside a subsequent winner when making it second-time lucky at Newbury last month and rates a highly appealing option. That was a step forward from his debut fourth at Salisbury and although he still looked a work in progress as the race unfolded, this step up from 7f could prove ideal. Fellow winners Brastias and Manila Thriller appeal most of the rest, although Hyperchromatic is a potential improver.
