VERDICT: Don McCain has won two of the last three runnings of this contest and he has strong claims again this year courtesy of Dripsey Moon, who has gone down by narrow margins the last twice. He won his maiden hurdle over this trip here last summer and the drop back in distance should suit. His rising mark leaves him with no margin for error, though, and Parisencore looks a big danger off only 2lb higher than his C&D success in June. Irish raider Carnfunnock completes the shortlist.
