VERDICT: Already a dual C&D winner, Eldeyaar is an appealing type for a race of this nature and is 2lb below his last winning mark. He has proven best when he races on the front end and, from stall two, he is ideally berthed to ensure this is run at a strong tempo. Fellow two-time C&D winner White Umbrella is feared most of those likely to come from off the pace. Danzart, Monsieur Patat and Crypto Quest are others with place claims at least.
