VERDICT: The combination of a sliding mark and return to a mile enabled Roaring Ralph to record a first triumph of the season at Ayr. Michael Dods' charge won with something up his sleeve and a 5lb higher mark may not be enough to prevent him from supplementing that victory. The biggest threat may be posed by Dougies Dream, who arrives on the back of a solid third at Doncaster, with Surprise Picture making most appeal of the remainder.
