VERDICT: New Kings Road may have been allowed to dictate terms to suit himself at Windsor, but he still knuckled down well to prevail by a neck. The runner-up has since franked the form by going one better and Richard Hannon's gelding can follow suit off just a 2lb higher mark, with Joe Leavy claiming that back and more. Hannon is also represented by Sheila's Paradise, for whom a first success should be just around the corner. Arika made a pleasing return on the Lingfield Polytrack, and Hey Lyla isn't out of it either.
