VERDICT: A fiendishly difficult puzzle to solve and a chance is taken on Amestris, who performed with credit in the Group 3 Molecomb at Goodwood last month and she looks primed to go close in this slightly easier race. Michael Bell's charge wasn't beaten far behind some progressive rivals on that occasion and a bold bid can be expected. The hat-trick seeking Adrestia has an entry in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes later in the season and she could be up to this tougher assignment, while French raider Lady Of Andros has shown plenty of ability in her two starts to date and commands respect under Ryan Moore.
