VERDICT: My Ambition regained the winning thread when scoring a shade cosily at Bath. He recorded a double last summer, so looks quite capable of defying a 4lb rise and going in again. Happy Chandler finished third of only four runners at Windsor, but has more scope for improvement than Lingfield third Roscioli, while Persian Phoenix reverts to this shorter distance still looking for a first win in a handicap.
