VERDICT: Having been beaten just under a length over 1m at Southwell last time, Havana Smoke makes most appeal. Dylan Cunha's charge shaped as if this slight step up in trip would suit when running on well into second on that occasion and a 1lb rise in the ratings doesn't appear likely to be an issue. The consistent Whatwouldyouknow is also worthy of a favourable mention, while Captain Corelli won over C&D off 10lb higher in September 2022 and a return to form would see him go close.
