VERDICT: After a good second over C&D last time, a chance is taken on Opal Storm to go one better. Brian Rothwell's charge wasn't granted a clear run towards the closing stages of that contest and with more luck in running, she can defy this 1lb rise. The consistent Emperor Caradoc rarely runs a bad race and he is likely to be in the shake-up, while former C&D winner Sound Reason is on an exploitable mark.
