VERDICT: City Of York dead-heated for fourth in this grade at Newmarket last month and the son of Cityscape was dropped 1lb for that effort. David Simcock's four-year-old is a previous C&D winner and it would be no surprise to see him put his best foot forward in this contest. Dutch Kingdom (first) beat Ring of Light (third) in a class 5 event at Lingfield on his penultimate start and he can confirm that form to have a say, while Al Rufaa isn't one to write off at this level.
