VERDICT: An open event in which only a tentative vote can go to Lir Speciale. Stuart Williams' five-year-old has been out of luck on turf recently although when racing on the all-weather, he's been competing at a higher level than this. The Prince Of Lir gelding is now 5lb below his last winning mark and this could be a good opportunity. Brasil Power often goes well around here and he is considered, along with Double Time and Zero Carbon, with the latter sporting first-time blinkers.
