VERDICT: Almudena needed every yard of the 1m6f at Sandown to get her nose in front. This extra test of stamina looks likely to bring further progress from Sir Mark Prescott's three-year-old and she is taken to shrug off a 4lb rise. Valley Of Flowers is another with strong claims having gone agonisingly close over the extended 2m at York, while Robusto came up short at Newbury last time, though beat Clan Chieftain when successful at Kempton before that and is another with a shout.
