VERDICT: A return to 1m2f proved just the tonic for C&D winner We Still Believe last month. The Lawman gelding scored with enough in hand to suggest that a 4lb higher mark is workable and a brace could be on the cards. The unexposed Dingwall opened his account over the same track and trip and the three-year-old is a viable alternative to the selection, ahead of five-time course scorer Ayr Poet.
