VERDICT: Zain Blue opened his account with a victory in this grade at Ascot a month ago and that form has been boosted as the runner-up has won both starts since. John Butler's colt can go close again, despite a 5lb rise. Mount Teide could only manage third when attempting to make all over 7f at Sandown on his handicap debut, but this faster ground may prove more to his liking. Mercury Day came up short at Goodwood when bidding for a hat-trick, although better is expected from her having returned a cosy winner over course and distance before that.
