VERDICT: Persuasion looks the safest proposition on the back of a couple of placed efforts over today's distance. He was beaten only a head at Doncaster last month and a repeat bid may well prove good enough in this company. Boardman has a bit to find with the selection on running at Town Moor but could still land a blow, while Ascot third Burdett is facing a more difficult task in this higher grade, but makes more appeal than the likes of Finn's Charm and Street Kid.
