VERDICT: Samui looked every inch a stayer to keep on the right side of when fairly bolting up over 2m1f at Killarney last month and, despite a 13lb hike in the ratings, it would be no surprise if this progressive son of Siyouni had enough in the locker to bring up a double. The suspicion is that Spirit Mixer did too much too soon when faring best of those ridden prominently over an extended 2m4f at Goodwood last week. He can emerge as the main danger to the selection eased 1lb, while Fox Journey is also considered from a sliding mark.
