VERDICT: Alpine Girl has been raised a combined total of 7lb in the ratings for victories at Lingfield and most recently at Salisbury last month and she can continue the winning thread today. James Fanshawe's charge looked to have something in hand when getting up in the shadows of the post at Salisbury and she is only 2lb higher now. The evergreen Muscika was a very good second over 6f at York last time and a repeat of that effort would see him on the scene again, while Gisburn arrives here 2lb below his last winning mark and that could help him return to form.
