VERDICT: Catch Cunningham justified strong support in the betting market when landing the spoils at Newmarket on Saturday and another bold showing looks likely. However, a 5lb penalty may be enough to prevent the five-year-old from completing the brace, with preference for dual C&D scorer Soul Seeker. The David O'Meara-trained gelding may have found a quick turnaround too much when only fifth at Beverley last month and a reproduction of his penultimate second in an 18-runner sprint at York may suffice. Huddle Up is also worth a second look.
