VERDICT: Charlie Appleby won this last year with the smart Measured Time and Arabian Light looks capable of following suit. The Kingman gelding landed the odds in a novice race at Newmarket with the minimum of fuss last month and can shrug off a penalty. Al Ameed refused to settle when fourth at Yarmouth on his debut, but this shorter trip and a first-time hood should help on that score, while Running Spirit looks another likely improver stepping up in distance and is preferred to Groovy Baby.
