VERDICT: Yaroogh looks to defy a penalty for winning at Haydock in May and has strong claims of doing so. William Haggas' colt beat the subsequent Group 2 runner-up Seagulls Eleven on that occasion and could be a cut above these on that form. Tiete improved when runner-up over 6f here last time but one of the newcomers may prove a bigger threat. Of those, Fifth Column makes most appeal as a half-brother to Royal Marine, who won a Group 1 as a two-year-old, while Calla Lagoon, Sheikh Raj and River King are others worthy of a second glance.
