VERDICT: Sandret got up to grab a place over a mile here last month and he takes a step back up in trip off a 1lb lower rating, so he has to be respected. However, Poet's Dawn looks the way to go. Tim Easterby's charge filled the runner-up spot over 1m in this grade at Pontefract on his latest outing and he goes off the same mark today. The nine-year-old should have no issues with this longer trip and he could prove hard to beat. Secret World is another to keep an eye on.
