VERDICT: Big Bard is likely to have his supporters after scoring by a length on the all-weather here last time, but he will need to transfer that level of form to turf. With that in mind, the vote goes to Lahina Bay. The daughter of Cracksman finished a close-up third in a deeper contest than this at Windsor last month and the handicapper may have been kind to leave her mark alone.
