VERDICT: On the evidence of his improved and fast-finishing 3rd at Le Lion d'Angers last time out, Essai Transforme (2) is good value to confirm/build on that return to form by recapturing the winning thread at the expense of Findon Rose (7). The latter also caught the eye with a reassuring last start (4th) and should have a role to play with a repeat of that performance. Consistent Chilli Princess (6) isn't underestimated on her return from a break, with the stable going great guns, while Valdikhova (8) is favourably treated by the conditions (as the top-rated runner in the race) and could spark improvement as a result.
