VERDICT: Spirit Genie pipped Way To Dubai and Yanifer over track and trip in May and it would be no surprise to see him confirm that form off 4lb higher. However, he could be up against it with Never So Brave in opposition. Sir Michael Stoute's colt impressed on his handicap debut over an extended 7f here before finishing a commendable sixth in the Jersey at Royal Ascot. This looks like a much more suitable assignment and he is the one to beat.
