VERDICT: A very open contest sees a chance taken on Beltane, who shaped as if this extra yardage would suit when second over 7f at Catterick. Mark Walford's runner was only beaten a length on that occasion and a 1lb rise may prove lenient. The hat-trick seeking Shahnaz is feared most and could be difficult to peg back, especially if allowed an easy lead. Lunario is also worthy of respect after a game success at Newmarket, although a 5lb rise may be tough to defy.
