VERDICT: Phantom Flight (first) got the better of Al Aasy (second) when the pair met over 1m2f at Newbury last month but, over this extra yardage with that seasonal reappearance under his belt, William Haggas' classy sort gets the vote to reverse that form en route to victory. Aimeric looks the pick of the remainder on the back of a narrow defeat in a Newmarket Listed race, for all that a smart effort will be required to take the gold medal upped further in grade.
