VERDICT: Adrestia took advantage of the experience gained in the Queen Mary when justifying short odds in a Yarmouth maiden a fortnight ago. The fact she was turned out so quickly at the Royal meeting after her debut effort suggests they think plenty of her and a mark of 82 may well underestimate her true ability. Alashos is likely to benefit from dropping to 5f for the first time having travelled notably well at York on his nursery bow. Englemere, who finished a length behind the selection at Ascot, and Diligently appear best of the remainder.
