VERDICT: Punters will need to be in a forgiving mood to side with Francisco's Piece but it may pay to do so. He was last seen finishing down the field when upped to 6f for the first time in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, but he had looked a colt of considerable ability when running away with a Chantilly Listed race prior to that and gets the vote to resume his improvement. Aesterius impressed when winning the Dragon Stakes comfortably at Sandown and is feared most. Vingegaard, narrowly denied in the Super Sprint at Newbury, is also respected.
