VERDICT: Aulis has been knocking on the door of late with two consecutive second-placed finishes and he can go one better today. Ralph Beckett's charge has been raised 4lb in the ratings for near-miss most recently over the extended 1m3f at Haydock and this extra yardage can see him to better effect. The reopposing third, Across Earth, is on better terms with the selection this time and he is rated as the biggest danger, while Star Legend may have slipped to a workable mark on his Flat return.
