VERDICT: Western Cape racing is back and can go from strength to strength. The pre-race preliminaries will be important so as to gauge fitness and betting moves are of paramount importance on the day. Elizabeth Grace showed good speed but would have still found 1000m too short in her second start. She should enjoy the longer distance. October Fest is well related and showed potential in her first outing. She should come on nicely. Fleur De Ville looks ready for a go over 1200m. She has been staying on in her races and is entitled to respect.
