VERDICT: Wadacre Gomez has struck on two of his last three starts on the all-weather and his latest victory showed that he is still ahead of the handicapper. With William Buick booked, he has to be taken seriously, but a chance can be taken on Stay Well. Hughie Morrison's six-year-old finished third behind Wadacre Gomez before filling the runner-up spot behind Enfjaar next time, but he is much better off at the weights with both and is taken to go close. Bystander was a smart winner of a hot handicap at Newcastle last time and is another to watch out for.
