VERDICT: Bama Lama raced away from the main action when only fourth at Salisbury last week. However, Rod Millman's mare had won over this C&D before that, when getting the better of a subsequent winner, and has strong claims on that form. Jax Edge scored over 6f here in June and looks the main threat having found only one too good at Chepstow four days ago, while Heartrate showed signs of a resurgence at Newbury and is preferred to Sugar Hill Babe of the remaining pair.
