VERDICT: Although Mick's Spirit has yet to score on turf from five attempts, the six-year-old posted a creditable third in a class 4 contest over C&D last month. Dropped in class and from a 2lb lower mark, Conrad Allen's charge looks more than capable of taking home the spoils. Media Guest is only 3lb higher than when winning at Bath recently and he holds obvious claims, while The Defiant is most appealing of the remainder.
