VERDICT: Split Elevens followed a handicap success at Brighton with a victory in one of these events at Wolverhampton where Shaka was beaten less than a length in second. The latter reopposes on more favourable terms with an apprentice's 7lb allowance in his favour and Ivan Furtado's charge is taken to turn the tables. John Kirkup showed signs of a resurgence when third at Hamilton, while Rockin Rosa has a shout if forgiven a below-par effort last time.
