VERDICT: State Capitol, Wehaveasituation and Charlotte Bronte renew rivalry - they finished in that order over this distance on the summer course on 21 May when just 2.10 lengths separated 2nd from 4th. Lavender Bay finished a further 2.75 lengths adrfit but was returning from a layoff and should improve to get closer, so there shouldn't be much between the quartet. Sansa Stark has an earlier engagement but judged on the strength of her form should play a leading role if taking her place. English Mistress has been costly to follow but a return to 1600m without the blinkers could work the oracle.
