VERDICT: Rayat looked a sprint handicapper to keep firmly on the right side of when scoring comfortably over 6f at Nottingham earlier this month on his first try over the trip, and the suspicion is that a 7lb rise may not be enough to anchor him here. Iris Dancer showed a likeable attitude when winning gamely at Carlisle latest and, upped 2lb, she should be thereabouts when it matters once more. Minnesota Lad took advantage of a sliding mark to score narrowly at Doncaster last month and he is entitled to consideration.
