VERDICT: Earth Cry has done nothing but improve since he was fitted with a tongue-tie, but he's been raised a further 6lb for winning at Perth and faces a tougher task up against the likes of Hardy Boy. Ben Pauling's grey returned to the smaller obstacles with a fine second in a higher grade at Worcester and looks capable of going one better at this level. Liverpool Knight finished fourth behind the selection at Worcester and can figure again with a conditional taking 5lb off his back, while Police Academy and Hiconic could both go well.
