VERDICT: Guard Duty showed significant improvement from first to second start over hurdles when easily scoring over C&D last time out. He can uphold form with the reopposing Virtual Rock (second), despite being 7lb worse off at the weights for that five-length success. Triumphant in a point-to-point in May, Bowling Buddy is an interesting recruit for a stable that knows how to ready one first time out.
